How to Use the Pickleball Court Analyzer
Basic Controls:
• Drag the colored circles to reposition players anywhere on or around the court
• Works with both mouse (desktop) and touch (mobile/tablet)
• Use the gear icon (⚙) to adjust reach radius and shot speeds
• On mobile, use the fullscreen button (⛶) for immersive viewing
Visual Elements:
• Blue court: Standard pickleball court with proper dimensions
• Black net: Center line dividing the court
• Red circle: Attacking player (hitter)
• Orange circle: Defending player
• Green lines: Available hitting angles that cross the net and land in bounds
Court Layout:
• Kitchen/Non-volley zones extend 7 feet from the net on both sides
• Service areas are 15 feet deep
• Center lines divide the left and right service boxes
Reach Radius Logic:
• Higher shot speeds result in smaller defensive reach areas
• Auto-adjust feature changes reach based on distance between players
• Base radius setting acts as a multiplier for all calculations
Strategy Insights:
• Green angles show where shots can be placed that the defender cannot reach
• Position players to see how court positioning affects available angles
• Experiment with different shot speeds to understand defensive capabilities
